Esther Chuah Hooi Lean Drawing

For the next year, a sketch created by Computer Science major/Visual Art minor Esther Chuah Hooi Lean will hang in the Michigan House of Representatives' Anderson House Office Building in Lansing. It was selected as part of the Arts in the Legislature project that displays artwork by one student from each of Michigan's 15 state public universities. She is a student of Susanne Kilpela.

Of Berlioz and the Beatles: A New Director is on Campus

Joel Neves comes to Michigan Tech from Cedar City, Utah, where he directed jazz and music theater at Southern Utah University while conducting the Orchestra of Southern Utah. His PhD in Orchestral Conducting is from Arizona State and he followed his first love, the trumpet, through bachelor's and master's degrees at Brigham Young. READ MORE
